I am venturing into the avenue of Essential Oils in my Soaps. So far I have used Sweet Orange Oil, and California Lemon, which have turned out as great additions to my basic Goat Milk Soap Recipe.

I have decided to experiement with Neem Oil. Neem Oil Seems to have many great qualities. Especially when it comes to Insect Control. I also am adding this to my line, because there are many customers that are seeking for a natural way to repell pesky insects so they can enjoy the outdoors without having to worry about the side effects of Deet.

Neem oil is a vegetable oil pressed from the fruits and seeds of Neem (Azadirachta indica), an evergreen tree which is endemic to the Indian sub-continent and has been introduced to many other areas in the tropics.

Neem oil is an excellent moisturizing oil and contains various compounds that have insecticidal and medicinal properties. A compound found in Neem Oil and neem leaves extract- ‘Salannin’, has been proven to be safer but more effective insect repellant than DEET. Neem provides protection from not only mosquitoes, but also from biting flies, sand fleas and ticks.
Neem oil is bio-degradable and has proven to be non-toxic to mammals, birds, bees or earthworms. It is biodegradable and breaks down easily and quickly

And just googling the benefits of Neem Oil, I have read that it is great for Acne, and other skin disorders. (not backed by scientific studies, but by people who USE it and have SEEN the results!)

And as a great natural way to get your Dogs Coat shinny and also repell insects and ticks!
